NOSE AUGMENTATION FAQs
Just a few years ago, if you wanted a new nose—smaller, straighter, smoother—you could either a.) have a rhinoplasty or b.) that’s it. You had no other options. But with the rise of injectable fillers came an off-label use for them capable of transforming your entire profile in under 15 minutes: the non-surgical nose job. Working with similar hyaluronic acid gels used for lips and cheeks, Dr. Capaldi can correct curves, bumps, and lumps, making your nose appear smaller.*
Great candidates for non-surgical rhinoplasty have an asymmetry that can be corrected with fillers. To determine if this procedure could be right for you, schedule a consultation with Dr. Capaldi.
Unlike a surgical rhinoplasty, the results from this nonsurgical procedure are temporary, and last only as long as the fillers do, which can be anywhere from 9 months to 2 years.
Bleeding, bruising, swelling, infection and asymmetry. Reaction to filler or local anesthetics are also a possible side effect.
In terms of downtime, there really isn’t any. Post-operative instructions for this procedure including not wearing glasses or sunglasses for one week. Patients are also instructed to avoid heavy exercise for two days after the procedure.
